"Earlier this year my son attended the 3-day UK Football Trials camp in Sydney. He loved it. Experienced coaches, great organisation, constant feedback, a holistic approach to the psychological and physical demands of young players. The purpose of my son attending was for the experience, the challenge and to understand the areas he needed to improve.
Fast forward a few weeks and my son is on the way to the England, ready to embark on a fantastic football programme, an outstanding academic programme and suddenly living his dream of living and playing football in the UK. We had not considered a football boarding school at this age. He is 15. A big decision. He took it.
This opportunity would not have happened if not for Chris Woodburn and the team at UK Football Schools and UK Football Trials. They assisted us all the way, working closely with the wonderful staff at an amazing school, to ensure smooth passage.
